General

A fully converted Land Rover bar, serving drinks at weddings, parties, festivals and events across the South.
We're based in Winchester, Hampshire, but we happily travel across the South and beyond.
Weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, festivals, country shows and private celebrations.
No — we can cater for any size event, tailoring our setup and packages to suit your guest numbers.
As early as possible, especially for summer weekends, which fill up fast.
Our standard minimum hire is 3 hours, but this can be tailored to your event.
Absolutely — we're happy to work alongside other suppliers and will coordinate with them for smooth service.
Our Land Rover bar is a real showstopper — unique, stylish, and guaranteed to get guests talking.
Yes — we can offer temporary signage or branding to personalise the bar. Just let us know when booking if you would like costs.
Local travel is included in our prices. For events further afield, a small mileage charge may apply.
Yes! We can adapt our drinks menu, service style and setup to suit your event.
Yes — our friendly, experienced bar staff are included with our full-service packages.
A range of options to suit different events: Cash / Card Bar — guests pay for their own drinks. Prepaid / Token Bar — you cover a set amount in advance and guests enjoy drinks until the tab is reached. All-Inclusive Packages — unlimited drinks for an agreed time period. Dry Hire — we supply the bar and staff to serve drinks you provide. We can also create bespoke packages if you have something specific in mind.

Drinks

Draught beers, ciders, stout, wines, spirits, cocktails, soft drinks and alcohol-free options.
Absolutely — we love creating signature cocktails for your event.
Yes — alcohol-free beers, mocktails and a variety of soft drinks.
Yes — we can work with our trusted suppliers to source your preferred beers, spirits or mixers. There may be a slight adjustment in pricing, which we’ll discuss beforehand.
Yes — up to four lagers / ciders and one stout, all ice cold from our built-in cellar system.
Yes — we can arrange and serve reception drinks, table wine and toasts.
Yes — if you'd like to supply your own alcohol, we can serve it under one of our corkage packages. This covers glassware (or biodegradable cups), chilling, serving and staff. We'll work with you in advance on quantities, storage and service.
We can supply glassware or biodegradable cups — just let us know your preference. We can add branded cup sleeves too.
Yes! We can create drinks to match your theme, colours or season.

Setup

Enough room to park a Land Rover and open the side bar hatch. With the canopy up, the full setup needs roughly 7m × 5m. We’ll confirm access and ground requirements when we plan your event.
Yes — if there’s suitable access, we can serve from inside.
Grass, gravel, concrete or hard standing.
No — we're fully self-sufficient, but access to water is helpful for longer events.
Yes — we can arrange a generator if mains power isn’t available.
We can adapt to most surfaces, and we’ll discuss options with you in advance.
We tidy our area and bag up waste for the venue or client to dispose of.
Ideally a 240V socket within 10m, but we can arrange alternatives if needed.
Usually around 1 hour, depending on location and access.
Yes — the bar, equipment, staff, drinks and serving accessories.
Absolutely — we have covers and can adapt for rain or strong sun.
Yes — parking space for the Land Rover and access for loading / unloading.

Licensing & Regulations

Yes — we hold a personal licence and can arrange a Temporary Event Notice (TEN) if needed.
A TEN is a legal requirement to sell alcohol at certain venues — we can apply for this on your behalf.
Ideally at least 4 weeks before the event.
Yes — this is no problem for The Tipsy Rover.
Yes — we always operate in line with UK licensing laws and promote responsible drinking.
We cannot serve alcohol to anyone under 18, but we can provide alcohol-free options.
Yes — we operate Challenge 25 and may ask for ID for anyone who looks under 25.
Yes — we hold full public liability and employer's liability insurance.
Yes — The Tipsy Rover is fully road legal with a current MOT and all safety checks up to date. We regularly maintain the vehicle and bar equipment so everything is safe, reliable and ready for your event.
Yes — as long as the venue and licence allow it.
Yes — we can provide risk assessments for your venue or event organiser.
We'll work with you and the venue to ensure all rules are followed while still delivering great service.
Our team reserves the right to stop service if necessary to ensure everyone's safety.

On the Day

We'll arrive in plenty of time to set up before service begins, stay for the agreed serving period, and pack down once we've finished. Exact times are confirmed with you in advance.
Absolutely — we're happy to set up earlier in the day so we're ready as soon as you want us. Just let us know your schedule when booking.
It depends on your guest numbers and package, but typically 2–4 friendly, experienced bartenders to keep service running smoothly.
Yes — our team wear smart branded attire, or we can adapt to your theme if you’d like something different.
Yes — we'll clear empty glasses and cups from the bar area throughout the event to keep things tidy.
We can work in most conditions, and The Tipsy Rover is weatherproof. If needed, we can operate under a marquee, barn or other cover.
If possible, a quick site visit is always useful to check access, ground conditions and placement. If not, we'll discuss everything in detail beforehand.

Sustainability

Yes — we provide biodegradable cups as standard for all events unless you request glassware.
Absolutely — we can supply glassware for an additional hire fee, or work with a third-party supplier if you prefer a specific style.
Yes — we separate and recycle bottles, cans and other packaging wherever facilities allow.
Where possible, we work with local breweries, distilleries and soft drink producers to reduce our carbon footprint and support local businesses.
We carefully manage stock to avoid over-ordering, use eco-friendly serviceware, and ensure all waste is collected and disposed of responsibly.
Yes — we can swap plastic straws for paper or reusable ones, use glassware, and avoid single-use plastics wherever possible.
Yes — our cellar cooling and bar equipment are designed to be efficient while maintaining perfect drink quality.
Yes — we're committed to increasing our use of local products, reducing single-use items, and keeping The Tipsy Rover as eco-friendly as possible.
